Combat in&nbsp;MH: S2&nbsp;is the biggest difference when comparing it to the main games of the Monster Hunter series. Instead of dynamic, very skill-based encounters, players will fight more tactically as the combat is now turn-based. It is worth remembering that battles are still challenging and players have to learn their opponents' attack patterns, weaknesses, etc. Additionally, because of the unique ability to communicate with monsters, we can use their help during fights.
